Last rites of Rajesh, who was martyred after being scorched in forest fire, son will get government job

Una: Forest guard Rajesh Kumar, who made the supreme sacrifice to extinguish the forest fire in Sally under Bangana sub-division of Una district of Himachal Pradesh, was cremated with full state honours in his native village Badoli on Wednesday. In his last visit, Forest Minister Rakesh Pathania also reached and consoled the bereaved family.

During this, all the departmental administrative officers and employees including DC Raghav Sharma, SP Arjit Sen Thakur and Forest Divisional Officer Mrityunjay Madhav also attended the last visit of Rajesh Kumar and paid tribute to him. Hundreds of forest department employees also participated in the last visit of Rajesh Kumar Sharma. During this, Rajesh Kumar will be immortal and as long as the sun remains the moon, the name of Rajesh Kumar will remain, the whole area resonates from the edges.

In an attempt to save the forest wealth from arson, the brave forest guard Rajesh Kumar Sharma died on Monday night at PGI. The last rites were performed with state honors in his native village Badoli on Wednesday. After paying tribute to the martyr, Forest Minister Rakesh Pathania said that Rajesh Kumar has sacrificed for his duty by showing devotion to duty and the state government will give him the status of martyr. The matter will be taken to the cabinet and the government will also provide a job to a member of the martyr’s family. Along with this, pension will also be provided to the wife as per the rules. He said that the state government and district administration Una were providing all possible help to the family of forest guard Rajesh Kumar.
