2 pounds fresh green beans

-2 tablespoons butter

-3/4 cup bread crumbs


-1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

-3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (or 2 teaspoons dried)

1 bag of green beans (fresh or frozen)

1. Wash your green beans under cold water and pat dry. Please place them in a saucepan with 1/2 cup water and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Simmer for about 3 minutes, then turn off the heat and drain in a colander set over another pot. Set aside to cool slightly.

2. Melt the butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat until it begins to brown, about 5 minutes. Add the green beans and season with salt and pepper, then cook for another 5-8 minutes until tender but still crisp (if using fresh, remove from oven when just barely cooked). Serve warm!
